Occasionally the app fails to install the helper tool at startup. To fix:
- Close Devious Machine Software Manager
- Open Finder
- From the menu bar, click Go → Go to Folder...
- Paste this path and press Enter: /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/
- Find the file named com.deviousmachines.devioushelper and move it to the Trash (you'll need to enter your admin password)
- Relaunch Devious Machines Software Manager
The app will prompt you to authorise reinstalling the helper tool - click OK and enter your password when prompted.
